The BARS Group company (a subsidiary of the National Center for Informatization, part of the Rostec State Corporation), which creates multidisciplinary cloud IT solutions for the state and business, and a resident of the Skolkovo Foundation, the K-SkAI company specializing in artificial intelligence and predictive analytics for healthcare, have signed a cooperation agreement.
The parties agreed to integrate the Webiomed predictive analytics platform with the BARS.Zdravookhranenie - MIS (medical information system) platform. What is more, they have agreed to enter a technological partnership.
The use of artificial intelligence technologies will allow physicians using BARS Group solutions to automate the analysis of electronic health records in terms of automatic detection of suspected diseases and patient risk assessment.
"BARS.Zdravookhranenie - MIS" is a single digital circuit in the healthcare of the regions. The platform allows digitizing all possible activities of a medical organization, from the internal document flow, organization of medical care to catering and accounting for employees, to exchange data between medical organizations, as well as to collect indicators from the entire subordinate network for monitoring and making management decisions. The medical information system is registered with Roszdravnadzor as a medical device. At the moment, the system has been introduced in 14 regions of the Russian Federation.

The Webiomed platform is designed to automatically analyze anonymized medical data to predict the possible development of diseases and their complications at the personal and population level. Artificial intelligence technologies, including NLP and machine learning, are actively used in the system. It is the first Russian artificial intelligence system for healthcare, which has successfully passed independent clinical trials and is registered by Roszdravnadzor as a software medical device. At the moment, the system supports 14 diseases in terms of assessing the risks of their development and can identify suspicions of 40.

Together with the BARS Group company, we will implement predictive analytics technologies in health institutions in the regions, which will provide transparent management analytics, provide doctors with an assistant in diagnosing and save the lives of patients, ” noted the CEO of K-SkAI Roman Novitsky.
